Ingredients for King Po Chicken

A little sesame oil
1Spring onions, cut into short pieces
1Green bell peppers without seeds
1tbspHoisin sauce
1tbspRice wine or dry sherry
1tspStrong bean paste
1/2Egg white, beaten lightly
1/4tspSalt
100-125gRoasted cashews
2tspMaizenamel, mixed with water
3-4Whole dried chilies, soaked in water for 10 minutes
3-4Small pieces of fresh ginger, peeled
350gChicken legs, without bones and skins
4tbspOlive oil

Instructions for King Po Chicken

To prepare the King Po Chicken recipe, please follow these instructions:

Cut the meat into a 1 cm tern. Mix them with salt, egg white and maizena flour in a bowl. Cut the green pepper into the tern, roughly the same size as the chicken meat.

Heat a wok and pour oil in. Let the oil get warm, pour the cuts and light the meat for approx. 1 minute or it changes color. Pour the meat with a casing and hold it warm.

Add green pepper, soaked chili, spring onion and ginger and lightning it too for approx. 1 minute.

Pour the meat into the wok together with hoi-sin sauce, strong bean paste and rice wine or sherry. Mix thoroughly and step 1 minute more. Finally stir cashew nuts and a little sesame oil. Put the dish on a hot dish and serve immediately.
