200gRed currant jelly

Instructions for Apple Cake with jelly

To prepare the Apple Cake with jelly recipe, please follow these instructions:

Rinse the apples and peel them. Cut them into small pieces and put them up in a pan. Add ½ decilitre water. Set the pan with water and Apple pieces on a stovetop, put a lid on and screw up completely up the heat. Crack if necessary. a vanilla pod, scrape the grains out and put them down to the apples in the pan.

When the contents of the pot is boiling, turn down on medium heat and keep the lid on the pot. Cook the Apple pieces in about 10 minutes, until they are quite soft.
