Instructions for Bread bowl (Bread for serving soup in bread)

To prepare the Bread bowl (Bread for serving soup in bread) recipe, please follow these instructions:

Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the milk, it should be approx. 37 degrees C. Mix half of the water 37 degrees C with yeast and stir until the yeast is dissolved, leave for about 5 minutes. Add sugar, salt, the last water and milk / butter. Mix it well. Now add the flour gradually. The dough must be firm and not sticky. Sprinkle some flour on the table and knead the dough well. Brush the pan with olive oil and turn the dough into this so the surface is covered with a thin layer of oil. Put a cloth over the dish and turn it into a warm place approx. 1 hour to double size.

Beat the dough and divide it into 4 equal parts. Eat each part just enough to form 4 round bread. Set on baking tray, 2 buns per. Plate, there must be room for them to rise to double size. Let the loaves rise for another 30 minutes.

Bake bread in preheated oven at 200 degrees C. alm. Oven for 30-45 minutes, cool on grate.

Just before serving cut the top of each bread and carefully remove the food until there are approx. 3 cm. Will be back

tips:
Bread bowls are best for thick soups like chowder, potato soup or chili. If you use a thinner soup you need to have more bread to prevent it from getting out of the bottom.
