To prepare the Broiled cod with marstaller gravy recipe, please follow these instructions:

In a large pan met fish, salt, peppercorns, vinegar, sliced carrot, sliced onion, bay leaf and water to cover the fish. Let it boil up, volume down, and let the fish simmer in sheeting ca. 15 minutes. Take the Pan from the fire, and let it soak into the Pan, while bacon cut into small cubes and FRY in their own fat.

Serve with boiled potatoes.

Tips:
Marstaller gravy: Roasted pork cubes, mostly of bacon, and in some home svitser one sliced onion along with the dice, while in other mixes mustard in the fat in the pan.
