Budding powder, sugar, egg and 1/4 liter buttermilk are whipped together in a saucepan and allowed to boil while stirring. The rest of the buttermilk is spun in a little while while still stirring and keeping the cream boiling. Thus, the buttermilk is avoided. The budding is cooled and layered with jam in a bowl. The dessert can be decorated with whipped cream and fruit.
