Ingredients for Chocolate/coffee muffins

1tspBaking soda
1.5tspVanilla sugar
100gChopped hazelnuts
2Eggs
2dlStrong coffee
200gPowder sugar
200gButter or margarine
200-250gWheat flour (depending on how much coffee and where large eggs you used)
5tbspCocoa
75gSugar

Instructions for Chocolate/coffee muffins

To prepare the Chocolate/coffee muffins recipe, please follow these instructions:

Mix butter and sugar shallowly. Add the eggs one at a time, and mix it all fairly evenly. Add coffee and the chopped nuts and mix it well together. Mix cocoa in a little at a time. Mix the flour with the baking powder and vanilla sugar, and stir it into the batter a little at a time.

Butter a muffinform shallow (like a little over the edge too), and pour the batter into the mold. The molds must be filled just over half up. then Sprinkle with sugar or cane sugar, this gives muffinsne a crisp cookie-like surface. If you want the glaze on, this is not needed.

Muffinsne Bake at 200 degrees c. alm. furnace in the middle of the oven for about 20 minutes. Be careful not to give them too long, since the color can be deceiving because they are dark in advance due to cocoa.

Let them cool in the mold for 15 minutes before they are taken out, and cooler further by on a wire rack.

Tips:
It can be a hit to get a little booze, and/or chopped chocolate in too ...:)
