250-300gCarrot
4dlWater
500gWhole wheat flour or wholemeal wheat flour

Instructions for Coarse bread with carrot

To prepare the Coarse bread with carrot recipe, please follow these instructions:

Grind the washed carrots roughly and mix them in a bowl of 1 teaspoon. salt.

Stir yeast into 2 dl. Of the water. Add the honey and let the skin stand loose until it suds lightly, after approx. 20 minutes.

Stir yeast together with carrots. Add the last 2 dl. Water, 1 tsp. Salt and flour. Stir all together into a thick porridge.

Squeeze the "pea" into a greased baking sheet and smooth the surface with a spoon. The dough must fill up form 3/4 up. Cover the mold with a film or a damp cloth and let the dough raise a warm place to it reaching the edge of the mold, approx. 2 hours.

Pour the bread in the oven at 200 degrees heat for approx. 70 minutes.
