Ingredients for Frugtpie

Coarse sugar
1dlCold water
200gWheat flour
200gButter or margarine
250gRough cleaned and washed fruits (rhubarb – gooseberry or similar)
5Chopped almonds

Instructions for Frugtpie

To prepare the Frugtpie recipe, please follow these instructions:

Wheat flour, water and fat which should not be softened but have its normal consistency, kneaded together into a uniform dough resting for about ½ hour on a cold place, like a refrigerator.

2/3 of dough rolled out in ½ cm. thickness and pricked all over with a fork. Dejstykket rolled up on a rolling pin or similar and place over a pie shape ca. 22 cm. in diameter. The dough is pressed gently in the mould and pages, and the excess dough press of the on the edge with a flat hand.

The fruit is distributed over the mould and sprinkled with sugar. The remaining dough rolled out in ½ cm's thickness and cut into strips of approx. 1 cm's wide and in the length and placed over the filling as a crosshatch.

Spread with milk, cream or water, sprinkled with the chopped almonds and then only with coarse sugar (so are the tonsils hanging).

Bake in the oven at 200 degrees C Groove bottom in about 25 minutes. The oven must have the right temperature from the start.

Can possibly. serve with whipped cream.
