1kgA mixture of cod fish fillet haddock Pollock or Atlantic halibut
1cloveGarlic finely minced
1tspCoriander
1Small bdt. parsley, roughly chopped
1Red pepper, coarsely chopped
1tspSalt
1tspBlack pepper
1Large green pepper, coarsely chopped
1Large onions, coarsely chopped
1tspSugar
1canTomatoes, coarsely chopped
10dlFish broth
2stemsPale celery finely chopped
2tbspFresh cilantro chopped
250gOkra cut in smaller pieces
3tbspOlive oil
500gShrimp
6-8dropsTabasco sauce

Instructions for Gumbet soup with fish

To prepare the Gumbet soup with fish recipe, please follow these instructions:

Warm 1 tbsp. Of the oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add okra and quench for 5 minutes. Take them up and stand aside.

Turn down the heat and pour the rest of the oil on. Bring onion and celery and quench them for 5 minutes. Bring garlic on and simmer for 1-2 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, sugar and coriander.

Pour the fish broth and bring it to a boil. Add the okra, the peppers and the tomatoes. Turn down the heat and cook the gum for 8-10 minutes. Bowl of parsley, coriander and tabascosauce. Slice the fish pieces and shrimp into the soup and gently stir to mix the gum. Put on the lid and let it boil for 5 minutes.

Server immediately with flutes.
