Instructions for Ham-carrot pie

To prepare the Ham-carrot pie recipe, please follow these instructions:

Start with cutting ham meat into small cubes and mariner it in salt, pepper, balsamic vinegar and a little Basil a few hours before or the night before.

Crumble the butter into the flour together with the salt. Add a little bit of cold water to the dough sticks together and roll it out into a circle 4 cm wider than the pie plate. Butter the mold with oil/margarine and place the dough in it. The dough is now produced cool for half an hour, while the kiln preheater to 200 degrees.

Meanwhile, sauté the onion, garlic and meat in a nice hot pan and made for cooling. The carrots are washed and torn at the grove side.

Eggs, milk, salt, pepper, Basil and grated cheese whipped together and made cool.

The dough is covered with wax paper and lenses are added in order to keep in shape. The bake now for 10 minutes with the lenses in and then 5 min. without.

Now screw the oven down to 160 degrees and meat and carrots will be distributed in the form. The egg mixture is poured over, so it is well distributed. The whole baked now in 35-40 min. and then rests in my 5-10.

Tips:
If the tart is served as it is without the accessories, there are enough for four people. If one serves a fresh salad to, should the series to six people. The meat can be marinated for flavor. I have selected the Basil, oregano, marjoram or thyme but can also be used. If you do not eat pork, ham and carrot can easily be swapped out with chicken and tomato. Baking time should be increased by 5-10 minutes pga. the extra moisture from the tomatoes. Enjoy
