1000gCooked chopped cabbage from creamed cabbage
140gTomato puree
150gLightly smoked ham cubes

500gLean ground beef

Instructions for Hvidkålsfad

To prepare the Hvidkålsfad recipe, please follow these instructions:

Thaw the cabbage up and saute the ham, peppers and peanuts. Season with paprika, salt and pepper and stir the mixture of white cabbage. Then saute the red onions, garlic and meat in oil and stir so that it crumbles. Add tomatoes and puree and season with salt and pepper. Simmer about 5 min. Put half of white cabbage in bottom of a greased ovenproof dish. Benefit the meat on top and cover with the rest of the cabbage. Sprinkle cheese on and set the dish in the oven at 200 degrees for approximately 30 minutes, the cheese is melted and the surface is golden.
