200gRed lentils. dried. raw

Instructions for Indian Dhal

To prepare the Indian Dhal recipe, please follow these instructions:

Fry the chopped onion in the oil or ghee until clear. Add the coriander, caraway and Curry and let them burn a bit of on the forehead.

Rinse the lentils and add to the pan. Simmer a minute's time. Then add the broth and Laurel, cloves and cinnamon. Let simmer for 45 min.

Tips:
Serve with chapati, rice and fresh tomatoes with lemon juice over.
