Ingredients for Iowa Chops

Finely chopped Sage-about 1 teaspoon
Corn oil for frying
Pepper
Salt
½tspDried Rosemary
1dlBread crumb
1tbspFinely chopped onion
1tbspMinced parsley
1,5dlApples, peeled and cut into small cubes
1,5dlMaize in whole grains (from canned says the original)
1400gThick-very thick-Pork Chops with bone
4tbspMild mustard
5tbspHoney

Instructions for Iowa Chops

To prepare the Iowa Chops recipe, please follow these instructions:

Cut a deep pocket in each cutlet. Mix the ingredients to the filling, wrap it with a little water or milk, season with salt and pepper and put it in the chops. Use a pair of meatballs to stick together. The chops brown well on both sides of the pan in oil, put into ovenproof dish and fry in the oven at 180 degrees C. alm. Oven - approx. 60 minutes.

Whip honey, mustard, rosemary, salt and pepper together and use it to brush the meat several times while frying in the oven.
