Egg white
Pickled/Candied Ginger
1-2tspBaking soda
200gChopped almonds
4-5dlSugar
5-6Eggs
8-9dlHvedmel

Instructions for Italian Almond Cake

To prepare the Italian Almond Cake recipe, please follow these instructions:

Chop the almonds-put them in a freezer bag, for example, and chop them with a hammer. Mix them with the flour, baking powder, sugar, chopped ginger and use the eggs to get the dough to hang together.

Roll dough out as long, thin sausage on a baking sheet (and remember that life is too short not to use baking paper).

Brush them with the egg white. Behind them in the oven at 180 degrees for about 18 minutes.

Take them out and cut the sausages over as each cake is about 3 cm long. Lower the heat to 100-125 degrees, set of pasties in again and dry them for they are rock hard.

The cakes can keep forever in cans.
