2tbspExtra sugar to sprinkle
200gSugar

3Large eggs

Instructions for Madeira cake

To prepare the Madeira cake recipe, please follow these instructions:

Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.

Butter the mold. Beat the butter and sugar, add the lemon zest, add eggs one at a time along with a tablespoon. flour per egg. Mix gently the rest of the flour in and add lemon juice at the end.

Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons. sugar just before the cake is put in the oven. Bake for 1 hour or until cake release a knitting needle. Cake set on a grate but must be of the form until it is cold then it can be turned off.
