200gAlmonds
250gSugar

Instructions for Orange / almond cake

To prepare the Orange / almond cake recipe, please follow these instructions:

Boil the oranges in water for one hour.
Pour off the liquid.
Cut the oranges into smaller boats and remove any stones.
Blend oranges with peel to a pure.

Turn on the oven at 190 degrees C. alm. oven.
Whip egg and sugar together until it is airy.
Chop the almonds in large pieces and add them to the egg yolks.
Add baking soda, rasp and vanilla sugar.
Finally stir the orange puree.

Pour the cake into a rune spring form with a piece of baking paper at the bottom.
Bake the cake on the second lower groove for 1 hour.

After 30 minutes of baking, place a piece of silver paper over the cake and finish it.
Let the cake cool and decorate with a flourish.

Server with cream fraiche.
