A little extra butter for use in the gratineringen
1tspFinely chopped garlic
150gFranskbrøds crumbs
2Dozen fresh oysters – taken out of their shells (the beard removed after case)
2tbspFinely chopped fresh parsley
3tbspGrated parmesan

To prepare the Ostriche all'italiana (baked oysters with garlic) recipe, please follow these instructions:

Preheat the oven to 210 degrees.

Choose an oven-proof dish or refractory serving dish that is large enough to accommodate oysters in a layer. Grease the dish.

In a large pot they leave 2 tbsp. Sprinkle off, pour the fresh French breadcrumbs together with the garlic and turn them into the butter for 2-3 minutes or until they are crisp and golden. Pour the finely chopped parsley, mix it all and spread approx. Half of this mass into the greased dish, put the oysters into a layer and then mix the rest of the French breadcrumbs with the cracked cheese and pour this mixture over them. Put small butterballs on top.

Pour the top grid in the oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the breadcrumbs are golden and the juice in the dish boils.

Served immediately, either as a main course or as part of an antipasto.
