Instructions for Our fried herring in vinegar

To prepare the Our fried herring in vinegar recipe, please follow these instructions:

Wipe the silt fillets, remove the ridges and give them a cut at the edge of both sides of the herring. Turn the herring fillets into rye flour mixed with salt and pepper. Melt the grease and sift the fillets golden. Put them on greasy paper.

Mix the vinegar, sugar, bay leaf and peppers and give it a boil. Take it from the heat and add the atamon. Let the layers get cold.

Cut the onions into thin slices. Put the fried herring in a bowl together with the onions laid legally between the herrings.

Pour the layer over and let the herrings pull for at least one day
