Ingredients for Pesto sauce

1Large bunch of fresh basil
1 1/4dlOlive oil (olive oil is the best)
2tbspPine nuts
3cloveGarlic
50gGrated parmesan cheese (pecorino)

Instructions for Pesto sauce

To prepare the Pesto sauce recipe, please follow these instructions:

Basil rinsed and pressed completely dry, before the leaves torn of. Pine kernels roasted lightly in a pan (teflon) and individual cloves chopped garlic. Together with a pinch of salt cast all the ingredients into a paste in the mortar.

The mixture is poured into a bowl and alternately stir 1 tbsp. of the olive oil and 1 tbsp. of the freshly grated cheese in until it's the consistency as a viscous cream. (I now Mashes it all in a food processor-a blender can also be used)

Tips:
The sauce keeps it easy 2-3 weeks in the fridge
