100gRye kernels. cut/broken
15gButter
2tspSalt
200gWheat flour
3.3dlMaltøl
300gRye flour, wholemeal
50gYeast

Instructions for Rye bread with beer

To prepare the Rye bread with beer recipe, please follow these instructions:

Soak the rye kernels in the hand warm water approx. 1 hour.

Stir beer and yeast together. Add vinegar, salt, soaked kernels, rye flour and wheat flour and stir well together. Let the dough rise in bowls 3-4 hours.

Bring the dough into a lubricated form of 1½-2 l and smooth the surface with damp hands. Repeat the bread for at least 1 hour.

Brush with melted butter and behind the bread approx. 1 hour at 200 degrees C. alm. Oven on the bottom oven pan.
