Ingredients for Simnel cake

1Orange
1tspBaking soda
100gCandied orange peel
150gBrown sugar
175gButter
2tbspApricot jam
200gWheat flour
300gRaisins and currants
750gMarzipan mass

Instructions for Simnel cake

To prepare the Simnel cake recipe, please follow these instructions:

Com raisins, currants and the finely chopped orange peel in a bowl and pour it over with the squeezed orange juice. EVS. also with a glass of rum, if you think. Let it soak for 15 minutes.
