To prepare the Sticky rice recipe, please follow these instructions:

Bring 500 g of rice into a bowl, pour cold water over until it covers and leave for 3 hours. Pour the water and rinse the rice thoroughly in cold water. Put a piece of pure mussel or cotton in the upper part of a steam cooker and put the rice in. Put the lid on and steam the rice tender for approx. 30 minutes.

Sticky rice is as the name says. They are eaten with their fingers by crushing the rice together into small lumps dipped in a sauce. Sticky rice can also be used as filling.

Sticky rice is sold in oriental food stores.
