1tspFresh thyme leaves
1tbspFrying fat from bacon
1/2tspSalt
1/2 - 3/4kgSummer cabbages

Instructions for Timiankål

To prepare the Timiankål recipe, please follow these instructions:

The cabbage is cut well.

The grease is heated in a saucepan and the cabbage and thyme are added and stirred while stirring until the cabbage is golden. 1/2 dl of water is poured and the cabbage is steamed under low heat for approx. 1/2 hour. Seasoned with salt and pepper.
