Ingredients for Tom Kha Gai

Chili oil
1tbspFish sauce
1Galangal-cut into 5 pieces
1tbspLime juice
1tspSugar
1-2Onion-finthakkes or blended
2Pieces of fresh lemon grass-finthakkes
250gMushrooms-halved and cut into slices
3Chilies (like both red and green)-fintsnittes
4dlCoconut cream
4Shallots-finthakkes or blended
4Tomatoes-sliced into quarters (about the size of the mushrooms)
400gChicken småkød
4-6Dried kaffir lime leaves-broken
5dlChicken broth

Instructions for Tom Kha Gai

To prepare the Tom Kha Gai recipe, please follow these instructions:

Broth broth and coconut milk into boil. Then add (in order): galangarod, chili, lemongrass, shellfish and finally gingerbread. Stir the ingredients well together. Put the lid on the pan and boil for 4-5 minutes. Then add the meat, onions, mushrooms. Stir the ingredients together. Add fish sauce, lime juice and sugar and stir well together. Finally add the tomatoes, stir the ingredients together and boil for 5 minutes before serving.

Before the soup is served, the galangaroden is fished. Then drip chili oil over each serving - ½-1 teaspoon. Depending on how strong one wants it.

tips:
Many make the ginger soup, it's not correct and you should definitely use galangarod. The ginger gives the soup a distinctly different flavor. If you can not get fresh lemongrass, you can use 5-6 pieces in the making. Alternatives to coconut cream can be coconut milk. This will make the soup much healthier. The right taste is available with coconut cream. :)
