Ingredients for Fattoush (Lebanese salad)

0.5Arabic bread (large round bread)
0.5cupLemon juice
0.5cupRoughly chopped green bell pepper
0.5cupOlive oil
0.5tspDried mint
1cupRoughly chopped fresh parsley
1cupGrovhakket fresh mint leaves
1Medium onion
1tspSalt
2tbspWhite wine vinegar
2clovePressed garlic
250gCucumber
250gRadishes (or to taste)
3Firm tomatoes
4Spring onions
8leavesFresh crisp iceberg (2 cups)

Instructions for Fattoush (Lebanese salad)

To prepare the Fattoush (Lebanese salad) recipe, please follow these instructions:

Cut the bread into small pieces, and either deep fry it, or roast it in the oven until it is brittle. Wash the cucumber, tomato and radishes and cut it into small cubes. Cut the spring onions finely, and chop the onion finely. Chop Mint, parsley and green peppers coarsely. Part icebergsalaten into small pieces.

Mix lemon juice, garlic, dried mint, white wine vinegar, olive oil and salt in a bowl. Mix all the other ingredients for the salad in a bowl for herself. Garnish with the bread and pour the "dressing" across (to taste, it must not be drowned).

Serve immediately.

Tips:
For the salad used a cup that can contain ca. 2.5 dl, or at its discretion.
For the dressing used a cup that can contain ca. 1.5 dl, or at its discretion.
