1 | twig | Rosemary, fresh |
1 | twig | Sage fresh |
1500 | g | Beef Shank (osso buco) |
200 | g | Shallots |
3 | tbsp | Wheat flour |
4 | dl | Rice |
400 | g | Mushrooms |
400 | g | Green peas. frozen |
5 | dl | Red wine. meat |
5 | dl | Water |
50 | g | Margarine |
Instructions for Occo buco
To prepare the Occo buco recipe, please follow these instructions:
Stir the meat at the edge all the way around. Turn each slice into flour with salt and pepper.
Melt the fat into a deep pan or pot. Brown the meat, like some times.
Put the meat back in the pan. Pour red wine and water at. Come rosemary and sage by. Let the small spoon under the lid until the meat easily loosens from the leg, 2-3 hours.
Clean the onions and put them in the forehead or saucepan to the meat together with the tomatoes approx. 1/2 hour before the meat is finished. Only use an appropriate part of the liquid from the tomatoes.
Boil the loose rice and mix with sauteed peas and mushrooms.

Serve the osso buco with the rice. A good strong red wine will be nice to drink for that.
